As April became May, we turned the page on the calendar and were faced with the yearly
delight that is Brighton Festival. Back in anger this year with a full schedule of events, after
Covid had played its part to give us a fallow year in 2020, and a more intimate schedule in
2021, having to adhere to the Governments restrictions.
As per usual, we have supplied equipment to complement the existing Concert Hall d&b PA,
with a stage package consisting of d&b M4 monitors, a Yamaha CL5 for Monitor control, a
Digico SD12 at FOH, and a mic package to cover all aspects of the vast and varied
programme.
Moving outside of the Dome, we have supplied a full audio package to “The Riwaq” on Hove
Lawns. This time, ‘Y’ series was selected from our d&b inventory to provide reinforcement to
the outside venue. The low frequencies were handled by our V-Subs, which were chosen
due to their cardioid nature, to minimise off-site sound levels.
Other notable venues include the iconic Theatre Royal, which has seen us supplying more
d&b, and a plethora of stage and control equipment as per show requirements.
Our thanks must go to all of the Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival personnel for the hospitality, endless
cups of coffee (and maybe the odd slice of cake!)
